Is the Loch Ness Monster Just a Giant Eel?

Everyone has heard of the famous Loch Ness monster that lives in Scotland! It’s a giant creature that many say they’ve seen roaming through a big lake in the Scottish Highlands, but its existence has never been proven.
Now, scientists have discovered that Loch Ness may have actually been a giant eel, if it ever even existed. In a study led by the University of Otago in New Zealand, scientists gathered environmental DNA from the lake and tried to find clues to the types of organisms living within it.
They discovered over 3000 different species, including birds, deer, badgers and other creatures. Unfortunately, no monster DNA showed up in the study.
